See All The 'MAN OF STEEL' TV Spots Collected In One Post

Man of Steel is just under two weeks away, and I have officially cut myself off from any dangerous potential spolier specific material, especially anything coming from this weekend's press junket or the now embargo-less set visit reports from online fan sites. With only days remaining, I am hellbent on going into Man of Steel as clear minded as I can. Frankly, trolling the internet as much as I do seriously had me going into The Dark Knight Rises knowing too many "surprise" plot points than I should have. These days sometimes even titles of online reports will fail to warn readers about spoilers or just flat out spoil something in the titles themselves.

The TV ads have been coming fast and furious as of late, and as per the Chris Nolan method of marketing, you get nothing for a long time and then a big surge as the film's release is imminent. These commercials have been short and sweet, and do reveal quite a bit if you know what you are looking for. They have put forward more than I expected (lots of Jor-El, Zod and his Kryptonian army), and include no shortage of visual effects eye candy that will look astounding in their entirety on the big screen in 3D.

So be warned if you want to know as little as possible about Man of Steel, I'd advise to not click the videos below. Though not by your own choice, these already have, and will continue to pop up on TV, so they may potentially be presented to you before you have the chance to react anyway.

Epic Third 'Man of Steel' Trailer Soars With Action and Plot Details

Earlier this week, Warner Bros. dropped a clever teaser spot during the MTV Movie Awards that featured a chilling warning to the people of Earth from Krypton's General Zod. But the long wait for this third trailer that revealed the action packed epic scope of Man of Steel that hit tonight was well worth it.

We now have a solid impression of Krypton, Russell Crowe's Jor-El and Michael Shannon's General Zod, who's enraged one line may makes me wonder if he will bury our fond memories of Terrance Stamp's icon delivery of "Kneel before Zod" in Superman II. While we have minimal actual dialogue from Cavill as Superman, his presence alone in the red and blue suit speaks for itself. It's a tough order to follow John Williams' unforgettable Superman theme, but the preview of Hans Zimmer's score we hear in this trailer is both heroic and promising. And the one touching exchange between young Clark and Pa Kent (Kevin Costner) seals it for the film's human aspect.

TRAILER: 'Man of Steel'

No need to wait until Friday for The Hobbit to hit the big screen,Warner Bros. surprised us all and dropped the full Man of Steel trailer in our online laps today. And what an epic preview it is to build anticipation for the highly anticipated reboot of the Superman legend.

The trailer, which runs over two and a half minutes, finally reveals some memorable shots of Cavill in costume and in action. We also get a quick peek at Michael Shannon as General Zod, Russell Crowe as Jor-El, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, and Diane Lane. It also looks like the Fortress of Solitude will play a part in story, as will a bearded and mostly eyeglass-less Clark Kent. The somber tone and incredible visuals seen here have certainly eased many questions, if not fears, from fans regarding the film. Teaming up Zack Snyder's penchant for incredible big screen eye candy, the script smarts of David Goyer, and having it all overseen by Christopher Nolan looks to have worked out nicely, and then some.
