The MTV VMA's Bring Us The First Trailer to 'Divergent'

Last night during the 2013 MTV VMA's, the first sneak peek trailer for Divergent was reaveled.

Based on the trilogy of Young Adult novels by Veronica Roth (Divergent, Insurgent and Allegiant), the film adaptation stars Shailene Woodley as Tris, an outsider in a dystopian future who does not fit into one of the pre-assigned classes society is grouped in to, and turns to changing her fate at any cost.

Directed by Neil Burger, Divergent  also stars Kate Winslet, Theo James, Miles Teller, Jai Courtney, Ashley Judd, Tony Goldwyn, Ray Stevenson, Zoe Kravitz, Maggie Q and Mekhi Phifer.

The film is set for 2D and IMAX screens on March 21, 2014.

Amazing New Hi-Res Pics of the New Spidey Suit on the Set of 'Spider-Man 2'

Courtesy of Geek Tyrant, check out these awesome new hi-res pics from the New York City set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which finally give us a clear look at Andrew Garfield's updated Spidey suit.

It looks like the wall crawler is camped out hanging about outside of pal Harry Osbourn's pad, played in the sequel by Chronicle's Dane DeHaan.

FIRST LOOK: The New Spidey Suit From 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2'

Director Marc Webb has already been tweeting cryptic images from the New York City but ComingSoon scored the exclusive first official look at the new costume to be seen in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, set to hit theaters May 2, 2014.

The sequel to 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man will see the return of Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Martin Sheen and Sally Field to their iconic Marvel Comics roles. Joining the cast will be Jamie Foxx (Electro), Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn), Shailene Woodley (Mary Jane Watson), Paul Giammatti (Rhino), Felicity Jones and Colm Feore.

Here is the film's official synopsis:

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy -- between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away -- but that's a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
