I mentioned that her Oldboy co-star, Nick Fury himself Samuel L. Jackson, unexpectedly spilled the beans last month to The Wall Street Journal that he'll be working with her in the highly anticipated sequel.
"I don't know if we'll work together, but we'll be doing Avengers together," she said. I'd take that as a definite "yes," she's signed on the dotted line. "I don't know if we'll be doing any scenes together though," she added.
So how excited is she to be taking on the iconic Marvel character?
"Yes, I've become like such a nerd about it," she said with a big smile. "I'm having so much fun right now. It's really really fun to read those comics and its really exciting. The majority of this stuff isn't relevant to what we're gonna be doing. But I'm loving it and it's a lot of fun."
As for the big screen version of the legendary costume, she revealed she has yet to actually get a good look at it.
"No. I just know about it, but it's not probably what people would expect," she said.
As she left for her next interview she laughed when told she would make a cool action figure, an inevitable right of passage when you're set to become a big screen superhero.
Olsen joins the ensemble cast alongside her Godzilla co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson (as Scarlet Witch's brother Quicksilver) and James Spader (who is set to embody the film's title villain, the robotic Ultron).
Avengers: Age of Ultron is set for a May 1st, 2015 release, once again to be written and directed by Joss Whedon.

Oldboy is set for theaters on November 27th.
